Every real winter adventure needs two things: a warm base to return to, and a wild place to push toward. Verbier has both, if you know where to look, one in the village, the other above the clouds. Here, The Lodge, Virgin Limited Edition's private luxury chalet in the heart of the village, joins forces with Cabane Tortin, an independent high-alpine retreat perched high above the resort at 3,000 metres, on the edge of the glacier, in an exclusive collaboration between the two.

For one week only, the two experiences form a single, uninterrupted journey rather than two separate stays: the warmth, wine and exceptional kitchens of an Alpine village retreat, followed by the total silence of a private sanctuary with no neighbours, no lights and first tracks guaranteed. The Lodge

A private luxury mountain retreat that blends traditional Alpine character with contemporary comfort. Ski legs found on Verbier's slopes lead straight into the life of the village: lively bars, sun-warmed lunch spots, mulled wine and restaurants tucked along cobbled lanes, all moments from the lifts and the town centre.

Come back to spa treatments and an indoor pool, in a chalet where the mountain and the village are never far apart, and where hospitality is dedicated to you alone.

Cabane Tortin

Born from a family of alpinists as their ultimate basecamp, Cabane Tortin pairs warm, convivial hospitality with uncompromising comfort at 3,000 metres. Arrive by ski, snowshoe or snowmobile, sherpas carrying the luggage, before private sunrise hikes give way to a great room framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and 4,000-metre peaks.

Evenings bring a sunset apéro and dinner beneath a sky full of stars, and mornings bring snow that is entirely your own. Here, silence is the most valuable amenity of all: no neighbours, no lights, first tracks guaranteed.

A week that moves between two worlds. Days begin on Verbier’s slopes and drift into village life: lively bars, sun-warmed lunches, mulled wine on a terrace, dinner tucked along a cobbled lane. Then the journey climbs higher, to a private retreat at 3,000 metres, where a dedicated mountain guide leads the way, evenings end in a sauna or a snow plunge beneath a sky full of stars, and mornings begin with untouched snow that is entirely your own.

The practicalities

From CHF 116,000 for seven nights, this journey is built for private parties of 8 to 10 guests who want both worlds, village and glacier, entirely to themselves. The rate covers both properties in full: all-inclusive dining and drinks, a dedicated Swiss-certified mountain guide, porters, hosts and private driving for the week. A tailor-made length of stay can also be arranged for those who want to extend or shorten the journey.

The Lodge x Cabane Tortin itinerary

Nights 1 -3: The Lodge

The journey begins in the heart of Verbier village. Three nights of restorative spa and wellness, exceptional chefs and unobtrusive service, with a full concierge team on hand for every detail.

Nights 4 - 6: Cabane Tortin

From the village, the journey climbs to 3,000 metres for three nights of private high-alpine living. A dedicated Swiss mountain guide leads the way, with Michelin-style dining served in the great room and a sauna and snow plunge waiting at the end of each day. Guests get first and last tracks, entirely their own.

Night 7: The Lodge

A final descent from Cabane Tortin back to The Lodge, to unwind at your own pace. Spa treatments and fine dining once more, before departing the following day.
