Location & travel
How do I get to The Lodge?
The Lodge is located at an altitude of 1,500m in the Valais region of south-western Switzerland, 51 miles east of Geneva. The nearest international airport is Geneva, around a two-hour drive away. Private planes can land at Sion Airport, just 45 minutes from The Lodge, and Zurich Airport is about a three-hour drive. Car, taxi and helicopter transfers can all be arranged for an additional cost. What are the check-in and check-out times?
During the winter season, check-in is officially 4 pm. Check-out is officially 11.30 am on the day of your departure.
In the summer months, check-in is officially 3 pm. Check-out is officially 11 am on the day of your departure.
If you are scheduled to arrive earlier, do let us know. If we cannot accommodate an early check-in, we'll make alternative arrangements for you in Verbier so you can get your holiday off to the best start.
How close is The Lodge to the ski lifts?
The Lodge is just a five-minute walk or a quick chauffeured drive to the Medran lift station.
Can I take the train to The Lodge?
Yes. We recommend taking the train from Geneva Airport to Martigny, about a 30-minute drive from The Lodge, or on to Le Châble, 15 minutes away. From Le Châble, a cable car runs directly to the lift station 250 metres from The Lodge, taking around nine minutes. The full journey from Geneva takes just over two hours.
Can I arrange a helicopter transfer to The Lodge?
Yes. Helicopter transfers can be arranged on request from Geneva, Zurich and Sion airports.
Should I hire a car for my stay at The Lodge?
If you're staying for longer, or visiting in summer, we recommend hiring a car at Geneva Airport. Ground transfers and taxis can also be arranged for an additional charge.

Can I hire The Lodge exclusively?
Yes. Exclusive-use bookings are available year-round and give you the whole chalet, all nine bedrooms, sleeping up to 18 guests. You'll have complete privacy and a fully catered experience, with exceptional service, gourmet dining prepared by our private chef, and every detail taken care of from arrival to departure, including use of the indoor pool, hot tubs and other on-site facilities. Can I book individual rooms, or do I need to book the whole chalet?
You don't need to book the whole chalet. The Lodge is typically exclusive use only during the winter ski season, but during selected dates across the winter and summer seasons, you can book an individual room and enjoy the same all-inclusive luxury chalet experience, including all food and drink, as guests booking exclusively. What's the difference between exclusive use and an individual stay at The Lodge?
Available for exclusive-use bookings, The Lodge offers complete privacy and a fully catered experience, with exceptional service, gourmet dining, and every detail taken care of from arrival to departure. During selected dates across the winter and summer seasons, you can also book an individual room and enjoy the same all-inclusive luxury chalet experience in the heart of the Alps.
Is The Lodge all-inclusive?
Yes. Whether you hire The Lodge exclusively or book an individual room, you'll enjoy the same all-inclusive luxury chalet experience: fully catered food and drink prepared by our private chef, who can cater to all dietary needs and preferences with advance notice, exceptional service, use of the indoor pool and hot tubs, and every detail taken care of from arrival to departure. Extra costs apply to spa treatments, ski passes, lessons, equipment hire and off-site activities such as heli-skiing or paragliding.
Is food and drink included during an individual stay at The Lodge?
Yes. Individual room bookings include all food and drinks, the same as exclusive hire, prepared by our private chef, who can accommodate dietary requirements and preferences given advance notice.

What's included when I hire The Lodge exclusively?
Exclusive hire gives you complete privacy across the whole chalet, all nine bedrooms, sleeping up to 18 guests. It's a fully catered experience: exceptional service, gourmet dining and every detail taken care of from arrival to departure, plus use of the indoor pool, hot tubs and other on-site facilities. The Lodge is also five minutes from the Medran lift station and welcomes children, with kids' welcome packs and activities such as films, games consoles and evening treasure hunts. Additional costs apply to spa treatments, ski passes, lessons, equipment hire and off-site activities such as heli-skiing or paragliding.
Are children welcome at The Lodge?
Yes, at any time, whether you're hiring The Lodge exclusively or booking an individual room. Children enjoy kids' welcome packs and activities including films, toys, games consoles, books and evening treasure hunts.
What are the check-in and check-out times at The Lodge?
In winter, check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 11:30am. In summer, check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. Early arrivals can often be accommodated, or alternative arrangements made, so let us know your travel plans in advance.
Bookings & reservations
When is The Lodge open?
During the winter season, The Lodge opens when the ski lifts operate – typically from early December to late April. It re-opens for the summer season in July.
The Lodge closes during May and June and from October to early December. If you would like to hire The Lodge exclusively during those months, please call our reservation team for more information.
How many guests can The Lodge accommodate?
The Lodge accommodates up to 18 guests in 9 stunning bedrooms, including a Master Suite and a specially designed Bunk Room for up to 6 children.

Is there a minimum stay requirements?
During peak winter weeks, stays are typically booked on a 7-night basis. Shorter stays may be available for last-minute bookings - please enquire with the team.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. The Lodge is a great place for a family holiday, and we have plenty of things for children to do.
We have a welcome pack just for kids, and plenty of great activities available on request, including children’s films that can be downloaded from Apple TV or Netflix, toys, a games console, books, games, and treasure hunts in the evenings if they are not too tired after a long day out.
The Bunk Room also makes for the perfect hideaway for our young guests.

How many guests can The Lodge accommodate?
The Lodge sleeps up to 18 adults across seven bedrooms and two master suites, plus a separate Bunkroom for up to six children.
What are the rooms like at The Lodge?
The Lodge has four room types. Three individually decorated Lodge Rooms (17 to 29m²), with a super-king or twin beds and valley views. Lodge Suites (28 to 33m²), with private balconies and large bathrooms with separate baths. Two Master Suites (41 to 47m²) on the top floor, each with a centrepiece fireplace, mountain views and a fully stocked minibar. And the Bunkroom (19m²), with three bunk beds, its own shower room, a TV and a games console, sleeping up to six children.
Does The Lodge have a Bunkroom for children?
Yes. The Bunkroom sleeps up to six children across three bunk beds, with its own shower room, a TV and a games console.
Do the rooms at The Lodge have private balconies?
Most rooms and suites at The Lodge have private balconies. The Bunkroom does not have a private balcony.
Does The Lodge have an indoor pool?
Yes. The Lodge has an indoor pool for guests to use throughout their stay.
Does The Lodge have a hot tub?
Yes. The Lodge has both indoor and outdoor hot tubs.
Does The Lodge have a gym?
Yes. Guests can use the on-site gym, alongside the indoor pool, hot tubs and a eucalyptus-infused steam room.
Is there a steam room at The Lodge?

Is there a spa at The Lodge
The Lodge doesn't have a dedicated spa, but treatments including massages, facials and combination treatments are available on request. Guests can also make use of the indoor pool, hot tubs, steam room and gym.

Is food included, and can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Yes, all meals are included. Our private chef can cater to all dietary needs and preferences with advance notice, just let us know!

Yes, we work with a trusted local provider who can deliver and fit ski and snowboard equipment at the chalet.
Can you help organise ski passes and lessons?
Absolutely. Our concierge team can arrange ski passes, private instructors, group lessons, and mountain guides.
