Activities at The Lodge
Hit the gym for a cardio and weights work-out, before taking a dip in the 9m indoor pool. Following a day on the mountains, soothe aching muscles in the indoor or outdoor hot tub, relax in the steam room or indulge with a spa treatment.
Mountain adventures
Home to many prestigious cycling events with hundreds of kilometres of biking trails, Verbier is a mountain biker's dream. There’s plenty for hikers, too – from leisurely walks to challenging 7-hour hikes.
To see the Swiss Alps from a different perspective, try rock climbing or take to the sky for a paragliding session. For something a little gentler, a sunrise yoga session on the mountain makes for the perfect start to a summer day.
Golf
Golfers are spoilt for choice when it comes to courses in the area. Most courses are located within a (spectacular) one hour’s drive from The Lodge.
Reach new heights at the Verbier Golf Course, located at an altitude of 1600m, or be won over by the beauty of the world-renowned Crans Montana, home of the annual Omega European Masters.
All courses nearby offer breathtaking views of the spectacular surrounding peaks, making for the most stunning of settings in which to play a round of golf.
Explore the Alps
The Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the Swiss Alps.
Find out why Swiss wine is a well-kept secret at one of the region’s vineyards, wander through picturesque villages, explore one of Europe’s biggest underground lakes by boat or take to the trees to tackle ropes, swings and tree ladders at the Adventure Park near Sion.
Summer festivals
Verbier boasts a packed calendar of summer events.
Music lovers can attend the many open-air concerts during the Verbier Festival in July, while equestrian fans can watch show jumpers from over 20 countries compete during the Grand Concours Hippique.
For thrills, try out e-biking at Verbier’s E-Bike festival or for something completely different, join over 15,000 foodies at Le Châble’s famous Cheese Festival to sample the delicious local produce.
