The Ceremony

Couples looking to tie the knot in Switzerland have the option of a registry office or church wedding. For those coming from overseas, the legal paperwork must be sorted before arrival, through the Swiss Embassy in your home country. Once that’s all set, you can pick a date and start planning your perfect day in the stunning Swiss Alps!

Need to know

All the details about the legalities and procedures for getting married overseas can be found on the Swiss Embassy website in your country. Just a heads up; the process can take three to four months, so it’s best to start early.

The feast

The food at The Lodge is one of the standout features of your stay, offering a delicious blend of Swiss and international cuisine. Your first meal as a married couple can be as formal or relaxed as you’d like; we’re here to make it unforgettable. If the weather’s on your side, why not enjoy dining al fresco on the terrace, soaking up the fresh mountain air?

All menus are fully customisable, and we’re happy to inspire you or take inspiration from your ideas. Plus, we offer an impressive selection of international wines, top-tier spirits, international beers, and exceptional house Champagne to toast to your special day

Welcome to The Great House, the vibrant heart of Necker Island and the ultimate setting for a wedding, perched at the island’s highest point.

This stunning space boasts an expansive open-plan design with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views out over the surrounding turquoise seas. With its high, vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and an oversized, contemporary chandelier, The Great House blends stylish luxury with homely charm.

Whether you’re throwing a huge wedding party, hosting an intimate celebration, or planning a grand communal feast, this iconic venue can handle it all, seating up to 100 guests or accommodating up to 200 cocktail-style.

The Great House includes three distinct event spaces: the Main Room, the Southern Terraces (upper and lower) and the Roof Terrace, which may be used independently or combined

The terrace seamlessly extends to the Lower Southern Terrace, which offers additional outdoor dining options with sumptuous sea views from every seat. The lower terrace is also a favourite for wedding ceremonies set against a backdrop of Caribbean blue.

The Roof Terrace is your venue for spectacular panoramic views over the island and the surrounding turquoise-blue ocean. It’s a prime spot for those wanting to sip or dine while soaking up the soul-soothing Caribbean sunrise or sunset.

It may be booked for breakfast and dinner, as part of any event or celebration. Note, the space is not suitable for lunch due to the midday heat.

The Beach House

Step into the Beach House, where Necker-style barefoot luxury takes centre stage. Picture this: tennis courts on one side, powdery white sand on the other, and a central living space that seamlessly blends the indoors with the great outdoors. Upstairs, you’ll find the perfect spot for chilled-out lunches, elegant dinners, and intimate celebrations overlooking the sea.

We offer five stunning venues for you to mix and match. Kick off your evening with cocktails at Lower Beach House, then move upstairs for a gourmet dinner at Upper Beach House. Oceanside is ideal for intimate dinners with the soothing soundtrack of the sea, while the Shade Sail and tennis courts can be transformed for a twilight wedding reception

Lower Beach House

Lower Beach House has been designed to cater to a range of events based on your unique requirements. Let’s start with Shade Sail. Nestled under a large white sail with a view of the tennis courts, this spot is perfect for dining al fresco, whatever the weather, accommodating up to 60 guests.

On the opposite side of the Beach House is Oceanside, a blissful spot right on the sand. Here, up to 60 guests can savour sunset dinners at the water’s edge.

And let’s not forget our fabulous tennis courts. These can be best transformed to host performances and wedding receptions for up to 100 seated guests.

By day, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun and cool off in the inviting pool with a swim-up bar for effortless enjoyment. As the sun sets, the magic truly happens. A cosy day bed cleverly converts into the ultimate DJ deck, setting the stage for unforgettable nights under the stars. A charming footpath glides you over the serene pool, leading to an open-sided pavilion where sea views and a gentle breeze set the perfect island event vibe. The highlight of this venue, and the source of its name, is the iconic oversized ‘crocodile’ table that’s ready to delight up to 50 guests, plus two additional baby crocs available for larger groups of up to 66.

Whether you’re having a laid-back lunch or a dreamy dinner, the Crocodile Pavilion combines relaxation and fun in a way that only Necker Island can. This is the spot where lasting memories are made, and the party starts. So, gather your crew and dive into the ultimate dining experience.

With plenty of sand to play on, it’s the perfect spot for beach breakfasts and sunset dinners - buffet or BBQ style, and hosting parties from intimate to epic.

Entertainment options here range from toasting marshmallows over bonfires to being mesmerised by fire dancers and swaying to the rhythm of steel bands. And for the grand finale, there’s no better spot on the island for a dazzling fireworks display to make any occasion truly spectacular.

Turtle Beach is a slice of paradise that’s perfect for laid-back dining and extraordinary wedding celebrations. Sunset ceremonies here are simply magical, with the sun setting over the horizon providing a breathtaking backdrop that turns your event into a fairy tale, as your elegant floral arch glows in the golden hour. 

For dining, Turtle Beach offers a breezy open-air space that can host up to 120 guests. You can choose from one long table for up to 30 guests for smaller groups, or long banquet tables for a bigger crowd. 

The pizza oven adds informal fun for lunch, or go all out with a buffet for wedding receptions; the well-stocked bar ensures the drinks keep flowing.
