Summer holiday highs

Take your holiday to new heights and escape to the Swiss Alps this summer. As the temperatures have risen and the snow has melted away, the Valais region of south-western Switzerland is a stunning vista of lush green pastures against the soaring mountains.

Don’t believe us? Take a look at these picture-perfect views and imagine the soft sounds of cow-bells echo through the valleys.

After a hearty breakfast at The Lodge, get to know the area with a gentle hike, and with over 400km of trails to discover there’s plenty of routes for all abilities. The beginner trails take approximately 2 hours and are a great introduction to walking in Verbier, giving you a chance to get used to the altitude whilst also enjoying the magnificent views of the valley below.

If you fancy a little more of a challenge, head out on an intermediate route from Fontaney and climb in the direction of Les Attlas, then drop down to the Lac des Vaux. This hike takes around half a day, but definitely worth it for the views once you reach the lake!

Stop off for a refreshing break and soak up the alpine sunshine with a delicious picnic, prepared by our chefs.

After a day on the mountains, our outdoor Jacuzzi, stunning views and flowing bubbles await your return back at The Lodge.

Until 23rd September 2018, rooms at The Lodge are available to book on an individual basis. As an extra breath of fresh air, when you stay 4 nights or more, your final night is free.
