There’s so much more to Verbier than snow (although it is pretty special in the winter too). When the snow melts away the mountains reveal a host of footpaths and trails, flowers in bloom and cows grazing the lush pastures with bells clanging around their necks. Soaking up the picturesque views from the top of the mountain whilst looking down on the chocolate box towns and villages below is quite exhilarating.
Outside of the winter season the region turns into an activity’s playground with a whole host of events to take part in, from yoga to yodelling, music festivals and equestrian events.

The festival only takes place 5 times every century to celebrate local winemakers from Lavaux and Chablais. With 23 different shows across 23 days, no day is the same, as 5,000 local residents take part in this celebration of cultural heritage.
The festival last took place in 1999 and this summer marks the 12th event since 1797 - a rare opportunity not to be missed!
