Bush Walks

A bush walk in Africa is a sensory adventure, bringing you closer to nature in a way no game drive can. Led by a Maasai warrior guide, you'll track wildlife, discover hidden flora and fauna, and learn about Maasai traditions. For active guests, a faster-paced option doubles as bush exercise. Complimentary and available on request, it's an experience not to be missed.

Excursions

For a truly unforgettable excursion, take to the skies in a hot air balloon and drift serenely over the Mara at sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the vast landscape and its roaming wildlife. The experience begins with a 4 a.m. pick-up from camp, followed by a scenic flight lasting about an hour, and concludes with a champagne breakfast and a game drive back.

For a cultural adventure, visit the vibrant weekly Maasai market held every Thursday, where locals gather to trade livestock, fresh produce, and handmade goods. Just a 20-minute drive from camp, this market visit - easily combined with a morning game drive - offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with the local community.

Community tours

Our community tour offers an authentic glimpse into Maasai life, starting with a visit to a traditional manyatta, where you'll meet local families, experience daily activities, and enjoy cultural performances. You'll also visit Enkenju-Enkoirien Primary School - built by Inua Jamii -  to meet students and learn about its impact. Proceeds support village families and a bursary fund for students' education.
