Under a different kind of sky 

Diwali is the festival of light, and few places carry light quite the way the Maasai Mara does. Here, the dark isn't something to switch off, it's the canvas, an endless stretch of sky against which even a single diya or a string of lanterns means something.

At Mahali Mzuri, that contrast is the whole point of the season. By day, the plains offer their own spectacle, herds moving across open grassland as the light turns gold. By night, the camp gathers inward: shared tables, low lamplight, the people who matter to you close by.
