Promoting sustainable practices and pledging our support to climate change initiatives is something we are always proud to highlight at Virgin Limited Edition.
On 25th March this year we supported the 10th anniversary of Earth Hour, which is a wonderful initiative developed by WWF to unite people around the world by shining a light on climate change. For just 1 hour, people, businesses and landmarks switched off their lights to help reduce their electricity consumption and reduce global light pollution. Head over to our blog to find out how our properties took part.
Another partnership we continue to champion is our work with the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA). For the past three years, we have been working closely with SRA to establish ourselves as one of the leading hotel groups in the world in terms of promoting a sustainable way of working. Last year, we achieved a total average of 74% and maintained our three star group status which is the highest awarded star rating. The Lodge received a particularly glowing report and was shortlisted in the 2016 International Food Made Good Champion category. Learn more about our continued involvement with SRA here.
The long term impact of climate change is something many companies from across the Virgin group are dedicated to support and we at Virgin Limited Edition are always happy to play our part.
