Pride 'n Purpose
As guests who have visited any of our properties will know, we are very proud of our Virgin Limited Edition ducks. Each one has their own look and personality, taking inspiration from the destination in question. From a Maasai Warrior at Mahali Mzuri in Kenya to a party-loving silver duck at The Roof Gardens in London, you can easily recognise and collect ducks from each destination.
Starting today (9th January 2017), the Virgin Limited Edition ducks are spreading their wings and venturing out into the big, wide world and we're launching a competition asking you to snap a picture of one of our ducks and share it on Instagram using #GiveAFlyingDuck. For every picture we receive we'll be giving back to the charities close to our hearts, because when you Give a Flying Duck, so do we! That's not all, as at the end of the competition, the owner of the most unusual Duck Pic (steady, we mean in an unusual location) will win a luxury stay at Sir Richard Branson's Kasbah Tamadot where you can see first-hand how we give back to the local community in Morocco with the Eve Branson Foundation. Two runners up will receive a full set of Virgin Limited Edition ducks. So get snapping! You'd be quackers not to!
In order to help our little ducks with their epic migration, we have enlisted the help of other Virgin companies. Look out for ducks on trains, balloons and even breaking a sweat on treadmills up and down the country. Handy tips about where to find our ducks will be posted on social media so keep an eye out.
More information about the competition can be found here on Virgin.com - www.virg.in/flyingducks. Here are some snaps we have already spotted on Instagram to inspire you.
