Aside from advent calendars, Christmas decs and Now That's What I Call Christmas 2013 on download, the sight of fresh snow, moving lifts and shiny new black vans parked outside means one thing, December is upon us and the season has begun!
With our first guests arriving this weekend there is just enough time to introduce you to the team that will be greeting them at the front door. Some faces you will recognise, General Manager Gareth, Deputy Manager Ashley, Head Chef Darren who is joined in the kitchen again this year by Hugh, GA Julie and not forgetting Pebbles of course!
But tis the season to welcome a few new members to The Lodge team, ready to make this another unforgettable winter at The Lodge! Joining the dream team, hot off Necker Island, Spa Therapist Candice and swapping his trunks for thermals, Sous Chef Ollie. Heading up front of house, Guest Services Manager Kelly who this season is joined by GA's Ross and Alex (that's me, aka resident blogger) and completing the Housekeeping team alongside Cristina and Patricia, or as we like to call them the magic fairies, Sonia. We also look forward to welcoming Andrea later this month who will join the chefs in the kitchen as our season stagiaire.
Over the coming season you'll get to know Team Lodge, new and old, just a little bit better as we talk skiing, apres and favourite Verbier hotspots... so stay tuned!
But for now, here's to a good winter from all of us at The Lodge!
