I am sure you are all eagerly awaiting an update from Gareth and Darren's Verbier to St Tropez challenge a couple of weeks ago. Well, unfortunately, Gareth had a fall on the second day of the challenge, just past Annecy in France. He fell in very wet conditions and unfortunately broke his femur!
After a couple of weeks in hospital in France, I am pleased to say he is back in Verbier now and resting at home with Pebbles keeping him company!
Darren, however, completed the route in 5 days and arrived in St Tropez safe and sound along with the 28 other riders. They are now planning the route for next year... well done everyone involved!
Get well soon Gareth - we are all wishing you a speedy recovery and miss you at work!
