Keeping You Safe
Things to do
A stay at Mont Rochelle isn't complete without a visit to our in-house spa. The team's philosophy is "Tell us what is happening in your body and we'll design a treatment that responds to your specific needs" (if only everything in life was that simple)! Our spa team are experts in tailoring and recommending treatments that are perfect for you, using a wide range of Africology products. Africology is an ethical skin care range that captures the rejuvenating and healing essences of Africa, helping to revitalise the skin as well as preventing skin damage and premature ageing (sounds good doesn't it?!).
One of our most popular signature treatments is the Cape Malay Spice Journey. The Cape Malay culture and flavours are very much part of South Africa, specifically the Cape Town/Western Cape area. Cape Malay food is distinctive in its fragrant smell and taste and guests travelling through the province will definitely encounter some Cape Malay dishes on their way. At Mont Rochelle we just take it up a notch and you can experience it as a spa treatment too.
The signature part of the Cape Malay Spice treatment is the use of authentic spices and herbs, combined with essential oils to stimulate the body's healing ability. All the spices are then blended together with a kaolin mask to form a paste which is then applied to the whole body. Part of this experience takes place in the Hammam where you can relax and let the spices work their magic.
Take advantage of our special spa offer, available for a limited time this winter. A 60 minute Cape Malay Spice treatment costs R1,100, but. you can enjoy three 60 minute treatments, including the Cape Malay Spice Journey, plus any two of your choice from the Mont Rochelle spa menu for R2,195. Offer is valid until 31st August 2017 so you better be quick!
