Things to do
Game viewing is the main attraction at Mahali Mzuri and with the Maasai Mara offering incredible wildlife viewing all year round, here's why we'd recommend going in spring...
Did you know….
Spring season (April, May & June), also known as the ‘Green Season’, is a beautiful time to visit Kenya as the rivers are flowing, the plains are full of long lush green grass and wild flowers in bloom, which attracts lots of incredible migratory birds and is the perfect time to spot new-born animals.
During our twice daily game drives the adventure really starts. Our vehicles are equipped to take on even the muddiest of terrains and you’ll be in the hands of our experienced Field Guides with a front row seat to spot plenty of resident animals from elephants to zebra, lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, impala and gazelles.
Whilst there is the odd rainfall it never lasts very long and the sun soon comes out. This type of weather provides some of the best backdrops and amazing sunsets – perfect lighting for those all-important wildlife photos!
Linger a little longer this spring and take advantage of our lower rates when it is a little less busy!
Book a stay to Mahali Mzuri during 18th April – 31st May 2019 and enjoy an exclusive private vehicle on your game drives during your stay. Subject to availability.
