Hello from the Atlas Mountains!
Since arriving back from our holiday we have seen a transformation in the weather as we leave winter behind and watch spring arrive. The apple trees are blossoming and the scenery is lush and so green - it can still be a little chilly in the evening but the past few of days have been glorious. So if you're visiting us soon, make sure you pack a mixture of clothes, as you can be sunbathing all day and then enjoying a log fire by night.
Our Spa girls are loving their new treatment room, which allows couples to have treatments side-by-side while enjoying the sound of the river and the view of the valley. Asounfou, Kasbah Tamadot's spa, has also just launched a new treatment list introducing aromatherapy body & facial treatments which include delicious ingredients such as Moroccan rose. I have to mention the Yonka facials and our stone massage, as I was lucky enough to try these out recently in the new treatment room and they were magical (it's a tough job but somebody has to do it!).
Our gardens are looking beautiful partly due to the spring-time blossoms but also following the visit of David Lewis, head gardener at The Roof Gardens (you can catch up with David on The Roof Gardens blog). David has worked with our team to redesign the front courtyard and finish the back gardens around our new luxurious tented suites. All look wonderful!
Finally this week sees the arrival of Eve Branson's Cashmere goats as part of the Virgin Unite project. They have landed in Morocco and are on their way to their new home in Tansghart - I will post some photos soon.
Please do feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions regarding your upcoming stay.
