Welcome back to the Atlas Tales Blog!
We've had a busy time here at Kasbah Tamadot, I can't believe how time has flown. All our guests had a relaxing and enjoyable time over Christmas and New Year - in the photo you will see some of our restaurant team waiting to serve a traditional Christmas lunch on the Roof Terrace. Kenton, Theo and I had fun in the sun and snow! Theo has even taken up Camel riding! Below you will see Pumpkin, Kasbah Tamadot's camel - she lives here with her son Pickle.
A lot has been happening in our food & beverage department. We've just appointed a fabulous new manger Tom Aslanian. Tom is leaving the hustle and bustle of London and will join our resident French and Moroccan master chefs who are experts in whipping up a la carte and traditional Berber food. We always say to our guests, if there is something you want that is not on the menu, just ask! And, we've just launched our newly refurbished Kanoun restaurant with the help of interior designer Yvonne Gould, you will experience a magical dinning experience. We are really pleased with it. I will post a photo in my next blog!
Karley, Carol and Afaf, our lovely beauty therapists and our wonderful Hammam ladies Mbarka & Melouda have been kept busy at our in-house spa, giving guests soothing Hammam treatments, Yonka facials and Lastone massages. Our signature treatment at the moment is using fresh rosemary from the Kasbah Tamadot gardens, to help even the most stressed minds unwind. We're embarking on an exciting project at the spa and extending to create 2 new treatment rooms over looking the beautiful valley. With my spa background on Necker, I'm very excited about this project!
