British Virgin Islands
Hello and welcome to our latest edition of Lifestyle,
It’s been a great start to the year and we’ve reached a huge milestone in South Africa, this year marks 15 years since Pride 'n Purpose was founded, which to date has raised over 17 million South African Rand (which at today's exchange rate is £1,000,000). It’s a fantastic charity that helps the local communities flourish, so when you’re next at Ulusaba I’d highly recommend going on a community tour. I should at this point pay tribute to our own Karl Langdon and his wife Llané who together with Gregg Campbell set up PnP in the first place - quite simply a brilliant achievement.
Over in the British Virgin Islands some familiar faces are back on Necker Island and busy preparing for the reopening in October. Don’t forget to take note of the upcoming Celebration Week dates for your diaries.
Looking for the ultimate family safari? You’ll be pushed to choose between Ulusaba and Mahali Mzuri; both have a Kids Go Free offer on dates throughout the year, if you’re really struggling, why not combine the two?If its sun rather than safari you’re after this summer then the beautiful Balearic Island of Mallorca is the perfect place for a siesta or fiesta at Son Bunyola and very much a Love Island free zone!
There’s some exciting news from the winelands, Mont Rochelle recently won Vineyard of the Year, South Africa in the Luxury Travel Guide Food & Drinks Awards 2018 so if you haven’t tried their wine this is the perfect excuse! If you’re thinking of going to the Winelands it’s a beautiful time of the year as spring is on its way.
Happy reading and best wishes,
Jon Brown, Managing Director
