Throughout June, Virgin Limited Edition will be supporting the amazing work of Ocean Unite, to help raise awareness around the issues of marine conservation.
World Oceans Day takes place on 8th June to help shine the spotlight on the need for businesses from around the world to halt the severe decline of ocean health. Ocean Unite’s The Ocean is Everybody’s Business initiative is helping bring together leaders in fields as diverse as tourism, cosmetics and finance and pledge to make a difference to the way we treat our marine environment.
Whilst the thought of tackling ocean conservation can be a daunting one, teams across Virgin Limited Edition have come together and here’s how we will be getting involved…..
At Kasbah Tamadot, The Lodge, Necker Island, Mont Rochelle and Ulusaba, our spa teams have chosen specific treatments where a percentage from each treatment will go directly to Oceans Unite. If you’re visiting any of these properties in June unwind with one of these relaxing charity donating treatments:
Ulusaba – Six treatments including Devotion Journey, Intonga Amasatchi Stick Massage, Bespoke Body Yoga Massage, Zambian Healing Ritual, Light of hope candle and the popular Soul of Africa detox mud massage.
Necker Island – Duos in paradise , the perfect couples massage
Mont Rochelle – The Signature Spagista reflexology pedicure or Devotion Journey, a relaxing couple’s massage
The Lodge – Spa Taster which includes a bespoke facial, back, neck and shoulder massage or Inner Strength, a deeply comforting back, face and scalp treatment
Kasbah Tamadot – The Trekker, a twist on the traditional Hammam treatment or Eve’s Rose Delight, an Aromatherapy Associates Rose hydrator body treatment followed by the Essential Rose Facial.
The bar teams at Kasbah Tamadot, The Roof Gardens and Mont Rochelle are highlighting the campaign with a special ‘Sea Breeze’ cocktail a donation will be made for every cocktail purchased. Make sure to share your snaps of you sipping your cocktail with us on Instagram!
In total, 11 Virgin companies will be supporting Oceans Unite’s campaign in June so make sure to keep updated with their plans online and on their social media channels. We’ve got a lot of great stories to share with you over the next month!
